The First Shenzhen Independent Animation Biennale is established and organized by OCT-LOFT with Mr. Wan Chunchen, Mr. Zhang Xiaotao and Ms. He Jinfang as its curators. It was inaugurated in B10 art space of OCT-LOFT and will last from Dec 22nd 2012 to Mar 22nd 2013. It has exhibited nearly 100 pieces of independent animated artworks of 56 artists or art group from home within ten years development. And a series of academic communications and participation activities such as seminar, lecture and independent animation competition is adopted this time. The exhibition will provide the visitors with a grand banquet of independent animation and open a new page of independent animation in contemporary art.
